Hi Everyone! So, inspired by our recent trip to an Amish pumpkin farm (read about it HERE), I decided to make some Pumpkin Sugar Cookies this weekend, and I wanted to share them with you today! I love decorating cookies, I’m definitely not a professional by any means, it’s just something fun that I love to do! I love that with one simple cookie recipe, a couple of cookie cutters and different colored icing, you can make so many different creations! They are the perfect little treat to make for different holidays or great little gifts if you package them in pretty little bags with cute ribbon and gift tags!
.
I always use the same sugar cookie recipe and royal icing recipe, you can find both of them in THIS post! You may need to adjust the icing recipe slightly, sometimes it requires a little more liquid, so add more if needed! You can freeze the cookie dough too, and just thaw it out before you need it.
 .
Happy Baking, Everyone!
so pretty and cute! I run to read the recipes!
Thanks, Carmen! 🙂
These are so pretty!! I love the icing – I’ve never done that, but I’ve always wanted to!

These look terrific. I can never seem to get the hang of frosting cookies like this. Whatever; I’d rather eat the cookies than decorate them!
